What is the Parent Seminar??

 

The Education Institute for Early Intervention and Mini Montessori is hosting our 3rd Parent Power Seminar. This event helps parents understand the developmental milestones of children. We have a special emphasis on how to seek out support through the Special Education System and Early Intervention. We support parents, teachers, and community leaders coming together to strengthen families and work collaboratively to support their children in the early learning environment. Previous speakers have included the former Mayor of Philadelphia, city council representatives, state representatives, religious leaders, professors, organization representatives, and a network of other friends and supporters of children who are differently abled.  These events allow parents/families to gain a better understanding of educational systems and build support networks within their community and early learning programs.
